LIR CALL has launched a person-to-person vehicle phone service ailed Interconnect, said to be Britain's largest privately operated ationwide system.

Through any one of Air Call's 5 UK centres, a vehicle-based ser anywhere in the country an now talk directly with anyne on the public phone network iroughout the world.

Interconnect follows a £1.2 iillion investment in new techology by the Air Call group, Mich until now only offered this ervice regionally.

A 24-hour, seven days a week service, the Interconnect system is said not normally to be subject to restrictions or delays on wavelengths available.

Interconnect can be installed in about four to six weeks in most regions, and each set costs from £75 per month subscription plus a one-time installation fee from £27.
