Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

carried out an extensive facelift on its Elite refuse collection chassis cab. Outside there's a stylish new grille and a moulded bumper plus a sturdier non-slip step but the biggest changes are to be seen inside.

The steering column is fully adjustable as is the new driver's seat with its patterned trim. A new flush fascia now has storage areas plus moulded cup holders while the improved instrument panel includes illuminated controls for the new heater and de-mister.

Repositioned controls and switches make them more easily reached and there are spot beam interi or lights.

The Elite revisions follow the news of ERF's adoption of Jack Allen's centre-steer cab (CM19-25 March) and the more recent launch of the Mercedes-Benz Econic (CM 9-15 April)—examples of all three products will be on display at the IWM show in Torbay next month.

• ERF will be exhibiting its new EM municipal range at Torbay. Included are a standard and narrowtracked 17-tonner, 22tonne 6x2 with midlift axle, 26-tonne 6x4 with mid-steer axle and an 8x4 32-tonner.

All will have the low, centre-steer cab and be shown with a variety of Jack Allen municipal bodywork.
