Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

South-Eastern commercial vehicle operators have contacted it about engine problems as a result of being sold contaminated diesel from filling stations between 8-13 May (CM 21-27 May).

The six cases will be investigated, says a spokesman, who adds that no problems were reported by BP's 36 bulk handling customers throughout the South-East.

All the contaminated diesel, which could block fuel injectors, damage catalysts and cause black exhaust smoke, has now been removed from more than 200 filling stations affected: service has returned to normal.

The Freight Transport Association, which has won a commitment from the Vehicle Inspectorate to be "sympathetic" when inspecting commercial vehicle emissions over the next week, urges hauliers who have been affected by the diesel to contact BP.

BP's inquiry into the incident is continuing.
