CRANFORD Engineering of Knutsford, Cheshire, has redesigned its container bulk body which is designed for transporting agricultural and horticultural produce. The body which is normally mounted on a flat-bed vehicle can be built to suit any chassis length.
It incorporates a well-mounted conveyor running the full length of the bulk body, the sides of which are non-stick coated to improve the flow of produce when unloading. A central, full length, protective shield relieves the pressure on the conveyor belt and regulates the produce flow.
