• The first-ever Atkinson sleeper cab has been built for Lowe, of Paddock Wood, by Ellis and Son, of Five Oak Green, Kent, and Atkinson Vehicles (London) Ltd and its sister company, Nightingale Engineering. The cab, to be known as the Nightingale, is a modified version of the Atkinson Mark II model and has the official "blessing" of the Atkinson engineering department.
