The EIGHTH ANNUAL PARADE will be held on WhitMonday, 1st Tune, 1914, on an area which has as its headquarters centre the Tate Gallery, on the Grosvenor Road Embankment. Each driver will be supplied, through the engineer in charge of his vehicle, with :—

(1) The official number-card for his vehicle, which must be clearly displayed as directed on page 1.

(2) Three complimentary tickets for the Victoria Palace Music Hall.

ASSEMBLY.—Drivers are to arrive as nearly as possible at the time indicated on this card, at the proper entrance to the parade ground, as indicated on the map at the back of this card. They will riot be admitted at any other entrance on any consideration whatever. They will then receive the necessary instructions for them to take up their proper positions on the parade ground from the marshals in charge, who will be distinguished by their flags and their white armlets.

No vehicles are to parade with trailers.

Drivers must stand by their vehicles until they have been visited by the judges, or leave word where they can be found at a few moments' notice.

The distribution of awards cards will commence at noon, and drivers must again be in their places by that time. DTSPERSAL—It is anticipated that the parade will conclude at about 1 p.mThe official conclusion will be notified by the sounding of a bugle at, various points on the parade ground. No driver must start to move his machine out of its rank until the bugle has been sounded. Moreover, previous to moving he must notify his section marshal that he wishes to do so, and must receive his permission. In order to secure orderly dispersal of the large number of machines on parade, it will be necessary for certain sections to be held back until the roads are cleared ahead of them

Any driver disobeying a marshal's instructions with regard to this withdrawal will be liable to disqualification in respect of any prize money he may have won, and of participation in future parades, if he is reported by his section marshal for disregarding his instructions.

AFTER THE PARADE.---Drivers may leave their vehicles on the parade ground, after drawing fires or taking other necessary steps, until 6 p.m., if they so desire. In that event, they are recommended to secure their tool-kits, coats, etc.

FREE GARAGE.—Any driver, if he so desire, may take his vehicle to the garage of Messrs. James Itartle and Co., Western Iron Works, 236a, Lancaster Road, W. any time after mid-day, Saturday, the 30th May, a nd drive from there to the parade ground on WhitMonday morning. He may also leave his vehicle at the above depot until S aim. OD Tuesday, if he wishes to do so. PRIZES.—The actual cash will be forwarded to the winners' employers on the Wednesday following the day of the parade, to bc handed to the winning driver. In the ease of the special Firm Prizes, other than prizes from makers of vehicles, the cash awards will be forwarded to the winners' employers for them to distribute amongst the whole of the drivms who appeared on parade, using the particular supplies for which the prizes are being given.

The Judges will be specially active in deducting marks for dirty condition of -paraded vehicles.

No driver will be allowed to take more than a total of5 in prize money, exclusive of the championship prizes.

VICTORIA PALACE PERFORMANCE.—The complimentary tickets issued by the Association for this special performance, will admit drivers and their friends. No one will be admitted without the necessary special ticket. The performance will commence at /45 p.m. thus allowing time for a mid-day meal, for which drivers and their friends will, of course, make their own arrangeremts.

WATER FOR STEAM WAGONS.--A motor tank wagon will be available on the parade ground in (leder to provide supplies for steam vehicles if necessary. No driver must leave his station to obtain water ; he should notify his marshal that he requires it, and the latter will take the necessary steps to secure it.

PROGRAMME.—Drivers and their mates can obtain from a special programme-steward copies of the programme, containing the names of all the officials, particulars of the prizes, full list of competitors, and a complete map of the parade ground, at the reduced price of Id. per copy. OFFICIAL CARDS.—Drivers will be liable to disqualification if they allow any card or device other than those issued by the to be attached to their vehicles.
