• MAN Volkswagen and wheel alignment equipment supplier HTC (Nottingham) Ltd has collaborated to produce a training video — Going Straight — on commercial vehicle wheel alignment.
Part one of the hour-long video explains what happens to a truck's tyres when a vehicle is misaligned and the subsequent financial losses. It demonstrates how to check and adjust the alignment of a tractor-trailer unit using an HPA Laser-Lux 4004 HD portable aligner. Part two shows how to calibrate the unit.
The Laser-Lux is designed for commercial vehicles with wheel sizes of 16-24 inches diameter.
