Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NEW vehicle designed specifically .1-1 for farm work has been produced by S. E. Opperman`and Co., Ltd., and is being distributed by Jack Olding and Co., Ltd., Hatfield, Herts. Known as the Motocart, the vehicle is a threewheeler with a capacity of 30 cwt. and is powered by a single-cylindered four

stroke petrol engine rated at h.p.

The fabricated-steel chassi%.is particularly strong, and is supported on a steel front-wheel column by a swan-necked section, which is an integral part of the frame. At right angles to the frontwheel column is the steering wheel, which is 18 ins, in diameter. This operates through a Marks steering, box to turn the front wheel.

The engine is mounted on the off side of the front wheel, which is fitted with a 9.00-in. by 24-in. tyre with crosscountry tread. The drive is taken through a conventional clutch and fourspeed gearbox fitted with a reverse gear. The output shaft of the gearbox is designed as a final pinion shaft, which drives the final gear bolted to the frontwheel hub. Forward gear ratios give road speeds up to 11 m.p.h.

The trailing rear wheels are equipped with 32-in. by 6-in. tyres and Girling brakes. The clutch can be either footor hand-operated. The hand-clutch lever is designed also to operate the brakes. We understand that the price of the Motocart will be less than £300.
