• Lowfield Distribution, part of the general products division of Imperial Foods, has made John Toyne personnel director.
Toyne joined Lowfield last April, assuming full responsibil ity for personnel matters on June 1, following the retirement of John Broad.
He has worked for the Imperial Group for 21 years, originally in production for the Ross Group (which was taken over by Imperial in 1969), moving to personnel in 1970 when he specialised in this function. _ At various times he had been responsible for many of the smaller independent trading companies of the foods division of Imperial.
