Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The most interesting of these is the Conquest 4-ton tipping trailer, which has basic 2-ft. sides giving a capacity of 100 cu. ft., but can be quickly converted, with extension sides, to 220 or 360 cult. The smallest model shown has a capacity of 13 cwt., with a body measuring 8 ft. by 5 ft. and with 1-ft, 6-in, high sloping sides.

Land-Rovers

The Rover Co. Ltd. (Stand J.31) always takes a prominent part in the Royal Show and this year will be no exception. A number of Land-Rovers fitted with vari

ous types of equipment will be on display.

Perkins Engines Ltd. (Stand F.9) is to show the full range of its diesel engines for agricultural equipment. Altogether there will be eight engines shown. These range from threeto six-cylinder models producing from 19 to 104 b.h.p. The sixcylinder Perkins 6.305 is to have its first public showing as an agricultural unit. This engine develops 85 b.h.p. at 2,250 r.p.m. and 218 lb. ft. torque at 1,250 r.p.m. and offers higher speed and greater power than the Perkins 6-288 engine that it replaces in the range.

Petters Ltd. (Stand G.22) is to show eight diesel engines and one petrol engine from its 1.5' to 108 b.h.p. range and, for the first time at the Royal Show, one of the Thermo King transport refrigeration units made by the concern. This will be the Model M, which is for over-cab mounting on vehicle bodies and for containers.

On the Joseph Lucas Ltd. Stand—No. K.15—electrical equipment by Lucas, fuel injection equipment by C.A.V. and braking equipment by Girling will be featured. The theme of the Lucas stand will be service to the farmer and users of agricultural equipment and a feature of the exhibits will be the Lucas " 100" hydraulic-transmission unit which will be shown sectioned.

Simms Motor Units Ltd. (Stand E.1) is also to show a wide range of electrical equipment, including transistbrized control equipment and the concern's 1,750W, 24 V. a.c. generator with built-in rectification. The Minirnec fuel injection pump is also to be featured.
