Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A range of nylon-webbed abrasive has been introduced by English Abrasives and Chemicals (EAC). The system uses nylon webbing impregnated with a selection of abrasive grits from coarse to ultra-fine and are colour coded.

Available as hand pads, discs, flap wheels and rolls, the new range is said to follow bodywork contours with minimal clogging. The very fine pads use an aluminium oxide abrasive which can be used wet or dry and can be washed clean for further use.

Hand pads at 152x 229mm also come on a 10mx152mm roll. Flap wheels are mounted on a 6mm shank in either 38 or 50mm wide with diameters up to 102nun. Sanding discs come as backed or non-backed with diameters from 100mm to 178mm with 16 or 22mm bores.

Prices for the webbednylon products are higher than traditional abrasives but the finish is much finer and they last longer, says EAC.
