• Autoglass is campaigning for safety standards to be introduced covering windscreen adhesives. About a million replacement windscreens are fitted every year and with bonded screens adding strength to vehicle bodyshells, it is important that the correct strength of adhesive is used.
Ford dealers are introducing a while-you-wait windscreen replacement service, which matches the factory standards.
