• Intended for long-life service on long or short-haul operations, with a minimum of maintenance, is a new two-wheel, onemetric-ton-capacity tipper trailer from Scottorn Ltd, Bell Lane, Amersham, Bucks.

Named the Bushwhacker, the trailer measures 9ft long by 5ft 2in. wide by 3ft 4in. high, and has a welded steel chassis fitted with a high-strength rectangular, hollow section drawbar. The tow box has a snapjack retractable front support and is supplied with eye or ball coupling as required.

Bodywork comprises a 16-gauge steel floor, an 18-gauge front, pressed stee capped side and rear panels and a top hinged tailboard. Angular wings providt extra stiffness for the side panels.

Semi-elliptic springs are used to givi a smooth ride on all kinds of terrain. Thi wheels, fitted with 9in. diameter Lockheec brakes, are interchangeable with those o Land-Rovers and most other four-whee drive vehicles of that type.
