Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

1 will miss Bryans Haulage

I'VE JUST found out that Bryans Haulage has become another victim of the recession.

I live down the road from the depot, and at any time of the day, whatever the weather, a Bryans truck would go trundling past.

The drivers always seemed to be on the go. But I did notice, though, that I hadn't seen one of their trucks for a while and just assumed it was due to the bad weather, because the small road they have to drive down is not usually gritted.

What a sad thing to happen just after Christmas. How many people have lost their jobs? If there are 45-odd trucks, that's enough. and then there are the workshop and office staff If there is any chance, why don't the drivers all get together to buy what's left of the firm? There must be a way. It was done years ago with Roadline (I think it was called), and if the drivers could weather what's left of the recession, things can only get better.

There will be another vacuum, which I don't doubt will be filled with foreign truck drivers who don't have to worry about all the rules, regulations and other rubbish that penalises our British haulage firms from the second a driver gets into a cab.

Bryans Haulage and the company's trucks will be sadly missed, I can't say much more than that.
