• A Scottish haulier is in dispute with a York-based skip and container company which advertised in Commercial Motor after it failed to deliver the Iwo containers worth £4,000 which he ordered seven months ago. Alistair Munro of Alness-based Pat Munro says he paid a bank transfer to DRB Fabrication's owner David Britton on 8 July last year. "We keep getting fobbed off," says Munro. "We just can't get to speak to Britton." Munro says he is ready to call in the debt collectors. "I was very trusting with this company but I won't be again," he adds. When CM finally spoke to Dave Britton, the owner of DRB Fabrications, he said he had tried to get the containers to Munro but "things have got mixed up", mainly due to his company's change of address nine months ago to its new depot at Fulford, York.

Britton says that Munro's skips are now ready for collection, but Munro still hadn't been able to contact him as CM went to press.
