Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ONE of the first prototypes of the new Metrobus double-decker is to go for trials with London Transport.

Initial production of the new bus was announced last week by Metro-Cammell Weymann with an order for five and option for 50 from West Midlands PTE.

LT already has a large batch of the MCW Metropolitan design with Scania running units and is considering an order for more of these.

It seems likely that if LT likes the Metrobus, the new bus could find a place in future LT orders.

LT is also to try the prototype Dennis front-engined bus with Voith 0851 gearbox that has already seem service with Leicester City Transport and South Yorks PTE.

Service trials in London with the prototype Leyland B15 bus have "produced whole sheets of small problems", LT chief mechanical engineer Stan Smith said last week.

This was wholly consistent with LT's intention to eliminate all problems with the vehicle at the prototype stage.
