AN allegation that Wessex Coaches, Ltd., were co-operating with Bristol Co-operative Society, Ltd., and the Bristol Tramways and Carriage Co., Ltd., in an effort to "run the smaller operators off the road" was made by Mr. T. D. Corpe before the Western Licensing Authority on Tuesday. '

Mr. Corpe was appearing for the objectors to an application by Wessex Coaches, Ltd., for new picking-up points on tours from Bristol. In answer to his assertion, Mr. S. C. Bellamy, secretary of the company, said that small operators '.ere not prepared to cooperate with Wessex Coaches, Ltd.

Mr. Bellamy agreed and added that a coach load of supporting witnesses had been brought to the hearing.
