Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AGREAT feat in cartography has been achieved by the London Transport Executive in the design of a new map that shows the whale of London's 1,400 miles of central bus routes and 225 services, as well as summer extensions and many miles of

country bus routes, .

The map has been designed in a true geographical scale, and shows the routes as they really are, instead of in diagrammatic form. Underground lines and stations are also correctly positioned.

To enable the new map to be kept within the dimensions of the present diagrammatic form, the City and West End section from Notting Hill Gate to Whitechapel is printed on a larger scale on the back of the main mhp. The central section bus services are shown in greater detail than ever before. An index to London's principal streets and their positions on the inap is included.

Copies will shortly be available to the public.
