A 7am start in the warehouse and then do pick-ups in Preston, Garstang. Liverpool and Warrington. Change trailers and arrive at Accrington at 3.35pm only to be told they stop unloading at 3.30pm so drive to Haslingden to collect a load destined for Germany. Not my job to take it out there (although I do drive to the Continent occasionally): I simply take it to a depot where it's stored overnight—and anyway I think I've done enough miles for one week!
