GU A GRIP • Work to repair and improve the skidding resistance on both carriageways of the M20 between junctions four and five in Kent will start on 4 March, and should be completed by midMay. A 50mph mandatory speed limit will be in force on the contraflow.

SEVERN SLOW GOING EAST IN Drivers going east across the Severn Bridge are advised to allow more time for their journeys because of contraflows. Traffic is also slow westbound. A 40mph mandatory speed limit is in force along the entire length of the bridge.
CALL FROM CUMBRIA • Roadworks are due to start on 3 March between junctions 41 and 42 of the M6 in Cumbria. A mandatory 50mph speed limit will be in force until the work is completed by the beginning of May.
