• Overnight parcels carrier Nexday is about to appoint its first three franchisees in London and the South-East, with 20 more to follow by midsummer.
The company has recruited carriers for new territories in the South following an advertisement in a London newspap• er which attracted 500 enquiries (CM 17-23 January).
Nexday has 32 franchisees covering the North and the Midlands which generate 70% of its monthly revenue. Until the new franchisees come on hire Nexday will continue to sevice its Southern territories in-house.
0 Securicor Omega Express has launched a 48-hour 50kg European parcel service in addition to its existing 24-hour document service.
