A high-speed automatic tyre changer designed to deal with most types of tubeless tyre fitted to European trucks has been introduced by Blackhawk, The unit is claimed to be the first fully powered unit to offer all truck tyre-change functions without the use of ancillary equipment.

Following the removal of the wheel from the vehicle, the assembly is raised automatically to the horizontal position. The various Processes of bead-breaking, dismounting and remounting are carried out as a single procedure.
