A SMALL increase in the number of road haulage permits for Italy has been negotiated by the DoE. Despite British pressure the Italian Government has so far refused to increase the general allocation; instead it has agreed detail adjustments which restore the position to that before 1974 when reductions were made.
Mr Fred Mulley, Minister for Transport, is to have another meeting wi Italian opposite numb spring on the subject.
