MR. JOHN WARREN, director of export sales of the Standard Motor Co., Ltd., is making a seven-week tour of the U.S.A. and Canada.
MR. R. J. BALLARD has been appointed sales manager of the domestic division of Creators, Ltd., in succession to MR, D. I. SHAKESPEARE, who has resigned.

MR. LEONARD LEE, chairman and managing director of Coventry Climax Engines, Ltd., was last Friday elected a director of Tecalemit, Ltd., in succession to MONSIEUR JOSEPH CHRISTE, who has been a director since the company's formation in 1923 and has now resigned.
MR. J. H. H. FISHER has become chairman of the Reading Sub-area of the Road Haulage Association and MR. W. G. COOK vice-chairman. In the Basingstoke Sub-area, MR. J. RAWLINGS has been elected chairman and MR. J. F. REMINGTON Vice-Chairman. MR. S. G. DEAN has been elected chairman of South Bucks Sub-area, with MR. P. N. JANES as vice-chairman.
MAJ.-GEN. E. H. CLAYTON, director and general manager of B.M.C. Service, Ltd., is leading a party of B.M.C. executives who have flown to Singapore to discuss service matters with Far Eastern distributors. Other members of the mission are MR. G. D. P. KING, service technical manager, MR. P. N. DAVIES, service parts manager, Ma. G. C. DurroN, technical executive (commercial vehicles), and MR. J. W. ROACH, of the export sales staff.
