Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

COMMERCIAL traffic should avoid central Edinburgh on Sunday, September 5, between 8.30am and 1.30pm, when the Edinburgh Charities Marathon will disrupt traffic. A ring-route is signposted to the south and west of the city, taking traffic away from Princes Street and London Road (Al).

Diversions will operate on Ferry Road, and the roads through Granton and Leith passing Leith Docks will be disrupted. In addition, Portland Place Gate (accessible from North Junction Street) will be the only dock gate open during the marathon.

Further information is available from the Lothian and Borders Police on 031-311 3391.
