PRESSURE GROUP Farmers for Action kicked off their fuel protests at 5am on Monday morning (25 April) at the Stanlow oil refinery near Ellesmere port.
About 30 agricultural tractors circled the roundabout outside the refinery's gates until they were moved by police onto the grass A number of protesters then met Shell managers who insisted that supplies had not been disrupted.
