Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Fuel injectors that work.

Doctor Rudolph Diesel was a very ingenious man.

Not only did he invent the combustion system which bears his name, he also came up with the idea of the "EinspritzdOse:' Diesel fuel injector, to you and me.

And though it has developed into one of the most sophisticated components in today's engines, it has one major flaw the good doctor didn't foresee.

As the atomised fuel is burnt it leaves deposits in and around the nozzle, clogging it up.

Over time, the fuel doesn't spray out into the combustion chamber in quite the way Dr. Diesel predicted.

In fact, it doesn't spray at all. It dribbles. The result? The engine has to work much harder to achieve peak performance.

And yet another vehicle spews black smoke out into the atmosphere.

Fortunately, Mobil has developed a diesel fuel that does justice to the Doctor's original idea.

Because of its detergent properties, Mobil Diesel Plus actually cleans clogged or dirty injectors.

And if you've just taken delivery of a new vehicle, it will ensure the injectors stay clean much longer than if you use ordinary diesel fuels.

So it's hardly surprising that in tests using different vehicles over a total of two million miles, Mobil Diesel Plus improved fuel economy by an average of 4%.

Other tests showed that it can increase the power output of a vehicle by up to 5%.

Improved performance means less downtime. While the cleaner burn reduces black smoke significantly.

If you would like your fuel injectors to really work, maybe you should change to Mobil Diesel Plus. Call Caroline Bond on 01-828 9777 (ext. 2482).

After all, you work for your living.

Why shouldn't your fuel injectors?
