Equipment for repairing pvccoated lorry tarpaulins is available in the UK from Welwyn Tool. The tool is called the LKS III and weighs 1.6 kilos (about 3a,), it is hand-held and by means of a 600-1400W motor, provides hot air, adjustable between 20deg and 600deg for welding, heating and shrinking thermoplastics. Available also from the same company is the -FIR pressure roller and customs tape.
