A protective surface coating that can be applied by unskilled labour using only basic tools has been introduced by Maintain.
Known as Kemitec, it provides a surface coating which is strongly resistant to both acids and alkalis and has good erosion resistance. It can be used to combat atmospheric pollution, spillage on tanks and pipework and the severest industrial contamination. Further it may be used on all industrial surfaces — steel and other metals, concrete and stone, brick, plaster, asbestos, wood, vinyl, polystyrene, etc.
