• TNT Road Services is being sued by Stockport-based Dow Freight Services for up to 21 million.
Dow and TNT are currently exchanging papers after which Dow will apply for a trial date.
The hearing will take place in London at the High Court.
The action against TNT stems from earlier this year when Dow lost its contract to distribute spare sparts for VAG, the Volkswagen Audi Group, based in Milton Keynes. TNT won the contract.
Dow alleges that TNT won the VAG contract unfairly and is seeking up to 2lmillion in damages.
Alan Jones, TNT's managing director, says TNT refutes Dow's allegations and will vigorously defend itself against the Dow action.
ID -In October last year, Dow was granted an injunction against TNT, preventing TNT from divulging the contents of
