Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

STRIDING TO STRANRAER

• A bottleneck on the busy A75 Strannter-Gretna road will be eliminated next week when a by-pass around Creetown is opened. The A75 currently passes right through the narrow and twisting main street of Creetown, about 10kms (6 miles) east of Newton Stewart.

The 3.3km (2 mile) by-pass opens on Friday, October 3, 11 months ahead of schedule. It was one of a series of bypasses on the Gretna-Stranraer "Euroroute" that is so important for traffic using the Stranraer-Cairnryan sea crossing.
