• Birmingham-based automotive refinishing company PPG Industries (UK) has promoted Mary Ward, (right), formerly supervisor of customer services, to sales executive covering Kent and East Sussex. She joined PPG — then International Paint — in 1978 as an order entry/progress chaser, became a marketing assistant the following year and supervisor, customer services in 1983.
Mark Hampton joins PPG from Gramos Chemicals International. He is responsible for developing PPG's refinishing business through the
company's distributor network.
