• Sheffield haulier T Robert's (Haulage Contractors) has been given a month in which to consider making representations against conditions North Eastern deputy Licensing Authority Norman Moody proposes to attach to its licence. In addition, Moody has indicated that he only proposes to renew the company's licence in respect of 30 vehicles and 35 trailers, instead of the requested 36 vehicles and 35 trailers. Moody carried out a site inspection after representations from 36 local residents about noise, vibration, smoke and pollution caused by operations from the company's depot in Lodge Lane, Aston.
The conditions Moody is proposed to attach to the licence are:
