RATES for the transport of coke in bulk have been agreed between the North-Western (Eastern) Area of the Road Haulage Association with the Manchester group of the North Western Gas Board. They are as follows, and come into effect next Tuesday: 3 miles, 4s. per ton: 4 miles. 4s. 5d. per ton: 5 miles. 4s. 10d. per ton. and thereafter 5d. per mile for each additional ton up to 20 miles.
