JTONT applications for a Halifax-Torquay express service are to be made by Hebble Motor Services, Ltd., Halifax, and Yelloway Motor Services, Ltd.. Rochdale. Coaches would run south on the Friday niglit before the annual Halifax holiday fortnight, returning on the second and third Saturdays of the period.
Associated Motorways, Hanson's Buses, Ltd., West Yorkshire Road Car Co., Ltd. (on behalf of the Yorkshire Pool), and British Railways are objecting. The case will be heard by the Yorkshire Traffic Commissioners at Leeds next month.
