Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The TruckNet UK forums were extremely busy over the Bank Holiday weekend in fact, it was the site's busiest period in its seven-year history. More than a million page views a month is no mean feat for any site, especially for one where the vast majority of its users are away from a computer for most of the week. Credit for this high usage must go to the volunteer forum administrators and moderators, who keep the website on topic and watch for any undesirable content, and, of course, the many drivers and owners who post topics and supply answers.

Among the topics that caught my eye this week were "Class two rates in Scotland". a request for information on the average wage for a Cat C driver, which has evolved into a more wide-ranging discussion over the disparity of pay rates nationwide.

Love it or hate it, the Iveco Stralis never fails to raise an opinion on the forums, and this week, it does so again in the Owner and Fleet Operators forum. A small-fleet owner asked for opinions on the Stralis, and got a mixed response. That it raises such debate from both sides shows how far Iveco has come with the Stralis range.

As lsuzu prepares to step up a weight class in the commercial vehicle market, it is also assisting other newcomers to the heavier end of the industry by sponsoring one of our busiest forums: the New and Wannabes forum. This advises those thinking of getting their LGV licences or currently training to do so. The content is extremely varied, from trainees' daily blogs through to concerns about the training or training schools. But the role of the forum doesn't stop there: those first few weeks/months with a fresh licence can also be fraught with problems, and the lsuzu New and Wannabe drivers forum is there to offer help.

All the forums, indeed the complete TruckNet UK site, are free to use. A few sections require registration, as does participating in the discussions but registration is easy via an online form and most registrations are activated within a couple of hours.

TruckNet UK is an easy-to-use, free database and interactive tool for drivers and truck owners. Visit www.trucknetuk.com to become part of the UK transport industry's largest online community.
