The South
• London, A306 Hammersmith Bridge: Congestion on both sides of the river is expected to remain until January 1998.
Wales and the West
• Bristol, M5 junctions 18-19: Contraflow across Avonmouth Bridge with 50mph speed limit. Rush hour delays until August 1998.
• Ceredigion, A482 Aberaeron: Upper Aberaeron Bridge on South Road is closed. Diversions via Panteg Road and A487, where there are also temporary traffic lights. Long rush hour delays until 21 March.
The North
• West Yorkshire, Ml Junction 47: Major longterm roadworks continue around Leeds junction, with lane and speed restrictions. Expect delays on the Ml, M621 and Dewsbury Road until 15 September.
Greater Manchester
• A6 Hazel Grove: Roadworks with northbound lane closures either side of Torkington Road until 31 March.
Scotland
• Edinburgh, M8 Junction 2: Lane closures on roundabout at junction with M9 until 30 April.
Northern Ireland
• County Antrim, MI Saintfield Road Roundabout: Bridge work with contraflow. Slip road closed until 12 June.
• Country Antrim, A2 Sydenham Bypass: Offpeak lane closures at Ballymacarrett Flyover until 30 November.
