Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• United Transport has taken six new three-axled Leyland Daf FAP55.230 21-tonne GVW chassis for evaluation in its Milk Marque tanker fleet.

United's new specification is designed to give more carrying capacity than traditional 9x2 farm collection chassis.

Fitted with 12,500-litre Massey tanks and Drum P umping equipment the new vehicles carry 25% more payload than the older 4x2s and there's a .£300 saving on excise duty into the bargain.

The United Transport fleet is predominantly ERF and Volvo: if the Leyland Daf 55s under scrutiny perform satisfactorily the entire spec could become the norm for UT.
