Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

UNDER THE headline "Seasonal tyres" on page 16 of Commercial Motor wie February 20th, you report the introduction of the Goodyear G124 tyre," said to be Europe's first all-season steel

radial truck tyre."

This statement is completely false.

Continental have in their range a tyre called the RMS which is an all-season steel radial truck tyre. We have supplied this tyre in this market in 10 sizes for more than four years, and for even longer in Europe. We have achieved very high mileage results with this tyre and the good retreading potential makes our product very cost effective for the user.

Our leaflet, describing the RMS tyre, shows that all the claims you state on Goodyear's behalf regarding their tyre being "the first in Europe" were already stated by us in our prospectus in 1980.
