VAN HOOL'S Astromegl double-deck coach is expected to be available in Britain fron this July.
The British-specificatioi vehicle is to be offered with 5, seats in the upper saloon and 2: seats downstairs, and has spao for a toilet and servery unit. Thl 11.83 metre (38ft 10in) long metre (13ft 1in) high three-ax11 coach will be offered with a Men cedes-Benz 0M422A turbo charged V8 rated to produce 24: kW (330bhp) at 2,300 rpm. Maxi mum torque is 1402 Nm (101 lbft) at 1,200 rpm. An eight speed manual ZF gearbox wil be used.
