CONSOLIDATED net earnings of ‘....•Transport Services, Ltd„ for the year ended May 31, 1941, excluding pre-acquisition trading results of companies acquired during the year, amounted to 2164,300, compared with 2109,286 in the previous year. War damage contribution accrued takes 26,473; N.D.C. and E.P.T., 2106,125; current income tax, 219,117; future income tax, 25,582, whilst reserves
receive 22,232; ordinary dividends paid amount to 10 per cent., and undivided profits total 22,541. With amounts relating to subsidiaries, other than profits for the year. now included in the revenue of Transport Services, Ltd., and with a surplus of El6,875 brought forward, there is 250,452 available. The staff fund receives £2,000 and general reserve £24,000, leaving 224,452 to be Carried forward.
