la Police are hunting two men who kidnapped a driver at gunpoint and stole his load of computer equipment worth more than £250,000.

The Amtrak driver had picked up from Evesham Micros, Evesham at about 20:30hrs last Friday (21 June). As he drove along the Add towards the M5 he realised he was being followed by a grey Vauxhall Vectra.

At the slip road for M5/J7 northbound the Vectra turned on blue and red lights and the driver stopped, thinking it was an unmarked police Gan Two men wearing policestyle fluorescent jackets took the driver prisoner at gunpoint. They forced a hood over his head and bundled him into the boot of the car. The driver was released hours later at Junction 16 of the M4 in Wiltshire.

One of the two hijackers described as white, agE between 40-60, of stocky bui and about 5ft Bin tall with gre± white hair. The other is whit tall, and has fair hair.

Detective Sergeant Am Price from the West Merc police says: "We are very ker to speak to anyone who thinl they may have seen these mi to establish the route they too "It is possible that they he dry runs beforehand so we al keen to speak to anyone in II Evesham area who may hai seen someone acting susp ciously," he says.
