The Retail Motor Industry Federation advises affected test stations to find alternative suppliers so they can continue to carry out emissions testing.

They will also need a new supplier to check the equipment so conformity certificates can be signed and sent to the VI by 30 September. Basic emissions test (BET) software must be installed by 31December.

Details of other suppliers can be obtained from the Garage Equipment Association.
