• Ulster-based Montgomery Transport has opened a base in Paris — it is its second on the Continent, it already has a depot in Cologne.
The company is expanding its fleet with 30 Scania R113 6x2 tractive units. Ten are to replace exisiting trucks — the additions bring the fleet from 200 to 220 vehicles. Montgomery has also bought 25 curtainsided 13.6m semi-trailers from its sister company Craven Tasker.
