Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

This week Commercial Motor's long-established service t readers in assessing the performance and other characteri. tics of commercial vehicles takes another major ste forward. Reflecting Britain's new commitment to Europ( we have joined with road transport journals covering MOE of Western Europe as members of a group called Eur Truck Press. It is an informal grouping bound by no con mercial ties, devoted to extending the editorial service t the readerships of many nationalities. The first fruit c this enterprise so far as CM is concerned is the 3800kr multi-nation road test supplement in this issue, but othe joint editorial projects are planned.

These extensive international tests will not affect ou normal road test programme, which will continue. Ou object is to broaden our assessment of some vehicles alread tested in this country and to test other models—some c them destined for the British market—before they becom available for trial over here. We applaud the farsightedne of manufacturers who have agreed to provide vehicles an facilities—at considerable expense to themselves—and wh in doing so have accepted the Euro Truck Press pre-conditic that " all the figures and results, whatever they be, will t published." A joint enterprise that strengthens CM's conter without diminishing its independence.
