NEARLY 100 operators have accepted an invitation to a meeting organised by ABC Forwarding Ltd (Felixstowe 70436) on the establishment of the Middle East Carriers Con: ference Agreement (MECCA). The meeting takes place next Thursday, July 3, at the Post House Hotel, London Road, Ipswich, at 11.30am, Operators who wish ,to go are advised to telephone the above number by Monday.
Speakers include Philip Woodley, managing director of Cliver ton Ltd ; Ian Brown of International Shipping Trustees; John Phillips, chairman of ABC; and CM's deputy editor, rain Sherriff.
