Pallet Made of Fabric
A PALLET made. of hessian and selling at approximately a third the price of 1-1 conventional types has been produced by Thos. Manning Sons and Co., Ltd., Dundee House, 1 Canal Street, Manchester, 1. Known as the Manjute, it consists of a hessian sling looped at each end to accommodate heavy-cardboard sleeves reinforced with metal mesh. The sleeves fit over the forks of a fork-lift truck.
Weighing 13 lb., the Manjute will bear 2,000 lb., and may be folded up for storage. Any size can be specified, although the standard type is 3 ft, 10 in. by 2 ft. 3 in,

piston-ring grooves. The cost works out to 0.13d. per gallon, say the company, who have also evolved an additive to put in fuel .storage tanks to reduce the formation of sludge in the fuel, partly
caused by reaction with oxygen in the atmosphere. This product is known as SSR 511.
Ratchet Wrenches
(PEN-ENDED adjustable_wrenches to
