Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The UK's biggest manager of motorway service station car parks is considering setting up a network of secure compounds for trucks. CP Plus believes drivers would p4 a premium to park in fenced-off areas with security cameras.

The company manages car parking at all Granada and First Motorway service stations; it will take over all Roadchef sites over the next four months.

Owner-driver Kevin Lofthouse says he would pay 215 a night to park in a compound after 218,000 worth of electric saws were stolen from his trailer while parked at Watford Gap service station on the M1 on 19 July.

"It would provide peace of mind," he explains. "My insurance covers me for theft but !still have to pay the 2250 excess."
