A FORMER Provost of Rothesay. CI and managing,director of a motor hiring company, Mr. James MacMillan, was fined £5 at the Rothesay Sheriff Court, last week, for failing to have a licence for storing petroleum spirit from April, 1936, until June, 1940. It was stated in court that the possible penalty was £20 per day, or R30,000 for the period involved in the charge.
