D ATES for the carriage of " smalls " "Aare already fixed in Glasgow and the districts immediately surrounding the city. Operators who would like similar stabilization to be effected in their own districts are invited to communicate with the secretary of the Scottish Carriers' and Haulage Contractors' Association, Ltd., 19, Waterloo Street, Glasgow. It is understood that Lanark hauliers have placed their suggested schedule before the Association with a request that it be handed to the Road and Rail Committee. Rail members of that Conference are deliberating these rates.
